My heart longs to see you again View the grandeur of your grace My heart longs to hear you again Your honesty keeps me amazed Share encouragement to embrace My heart longs to smell you again Your fragrance soothes my soul My heart longs to taste you again Head to toe I'll swallow you whole Share encouragement to embrace My heart longs to feel you again Interlace with brazen integrity My heart longs to forever love you With fidelity and felicity I couldn't love any differently

LOVESHOCK 04:52
(Sampled from the 1971 cult film Harold and Maude) Harold: the first time was when I was at boarding school -- in the chemistry lab. I was in there, cleaning it up, so, uh, I decided I'd do a little experimenting, you know. So I get all this stuff out and begin mixing it up. It's very scientific. (laughs) There was this massive explosion. It knocked me down. It blew out a huge hole in the floor. There was boards and bricks and flames leaping up. I figured, you know, time to leave. My career in school was over. So, uh...I went home. My mother was giving a party so I just went right up the backstairs into my room. Turned off the light, and uh, I got this funny feeling. The doorbell rang. I went out into the banister, and these two policemen came in, found my mother, and, uh...told her that I was killed in the fire. She put one hand up to her forehead...the other one, she reached out as if groping for support and with this long sigh, she collapsed... (Maude looks simultaneously intrigued and horrified. Harold looking at her, slowly breaks down and begins sobbing.) Harold: I decided right then that I enjoy being dead. Maude: I understand. A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they're not dead, really. They're just... backing away from life.

Good Grief 06:38
(Outro - sampled from 1998 film Pokémon: The First Movie) Ash Ketchum: Someone's gotta take a stand. Someone's gotta say "no," and refuse to fight. Just like Pikachu

Simplex 03:01
Take the blame of the crime you committed Hidden in omission, you're not that innocent Can't convince me you've done nothing wrong, nothing cold I hope this shakes your sense of control You don't even know, you don't even know what love is You don't even know how to have a healthy relationship I've grown strong branches from measly twigs but your brittle behavior begins to dig and unearth my roots (my roots) bit by bit You don't even know, you don't even know what love is You don't even know how to have a healthy relationship Don't you think I have the slightest clue? Laugh all you want, but I do I know the truth I'm on to you! but conversing with you is like throwing pearls to a pig and it's like throwing to a dog something sacred You don't even know, you don't even know

Transplant 04:48
No argument I can make Will sway you my way Nothing I can say To not be dismayed Searching for reasons Facing all my demons Why is working through this grievance Seem useless when you're enjoying freedom? (chorus) Researching and rehearsing is meaningless When prevaricating to blame divergence Why even try practicing this When it comes out in different versions? You said you are undeserving It's a lie, but this pain is is recurring You were the conscious one Witnessed my mutation How could anyone show more appreciation? Alleviate the pain Temporary sensation I am certain It will take me a long time to stop hurting Lock door and close the curtains My daydreaming is starting to worsen Itís weakening How our love is dispersing (chorus) Make a decision Spilt apart Binary fission Of my heart Making the incision Deserve someone better Fabricate, flat-line, straight to the shredder How could you allow my transplant From another manís... How could you allow my transplant From another ... heart How could anyone show more appreciation? Why even try? Itís a lie, itís a lie! (chorus) Why even try? Itís a lie, itís a lie When it comes out in different versions No argument I can make Will sway you my way

Almost every day I wonder and contemplate About how I committed to an enticement A promise of what will be But what you are currently is the only guarantee I tried so hard and fell off Oh my God Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye Lord, I know that you're close to the broken-hearted Would you please allow me to finish what I started? Lord, I know that you're close to the broken-hearted But would you please allow me to finish? It feels like lying trying every day Pretending that everything's okay Look into the mirror Fool yourself Soon the fear will disappear I'm grinding against the grain and I'm falling behind Kiss the pain... Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye Lord, be there for me when I fall Be there for me when I fall Be there for me dear Lord (and I know you'll always be there)

Mistakes 04:27
(Various samples from the Donkey Kong games) Please stop trying to justify mistakes Do realize it's a waste You will grow when you know to embrace Lessons learned from the fruits of your shame Please do discern instead of casting blame Please recognize to rectify mistakes Deny pride, open your eyes Ostracizing "apologizers" is a disgrace And when you approach moments of malaise Recall you're human Most mistakes are made in haste Hold on tight Through trials of many kinds Move forward, don't rewind It's a test of faith Now kiss goodbye old ways Sacrifice without delay After all, don't you deserve a new clean slate?

about

New album by Polly Pocket!

My goal: To somehow reach discerning listeners and let them know that they have the capacity to cope with the heartache of a love loss.

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
- Colossians 3:13

LOVESHOCK was majorly written after a bad break-up. With the help of Dr. Stephen Gullo's "LOVESHOCK: How to Recover from a Broken Heart and Love Again," I was able to organize songs I created into the seven stages....

Seven stages of LOVESHOCK:
1: Love
2: Shock
3: Grief
4: Setting Blame
5: Resignation
6: Rebuilding
7: Resolution

Themes of songs featured appear in order of LOVESHOCK Stages:
1: You Are My Heart
2: LOVESHOCK
3: Good Grief
4: Simplex
(Zig Zag)
3, 4: Transplant
5: Falling Behind
6: Mistakes, Point of Presence
7: Dynamic Address Mapping
